Sunday Salon – Back in the big lights

TSS Ah, it's good to be back. I have been very stressed the last few weeks with work and driving and life and I blame part of that stress on the lack of reading!

I have been working in the countryside, to which I have been driving rather than commuting by underground train, and thus I have not read a book in 3 weeks. It's terrible. I feel like I'm at uni again, frantically compressing as much Physics into my head (or these days, frantically getting through as much accountancy) as possible, per day. Which is not true, I have been home for hours in the evenings, just unable to sit down with a book.

Yesterday I finally posted my review of Life After Yes by Aidan Donnelley Rowley, who also blogs here.

I need to get around to finishing off Luis Sepulveda's The Shadow of What We Were, which (as I noted on FridayEuropa Editions very kindly sent me back in early January and which I have failed to read and review.

Mailbox Monday to come as well – I've only bought a few books in the last couple of weeks… maybe 20? Very restrained 🙂
