Thoughts and other Miscellany

I forgot I liked basic algebra

So Mini-Me came to stay last weekend and brought lots of L6 (second last year of school) maths homework with her. Basic calculus, some equations of lines which describe curves on graphs, etc. I got to help her with it – and it was fun!

It’s been a while since I did real mathsy brainwork. And this was maths for seventeen-year-olds, so relatively easy for someone with a physics degree (even if it’s pretty dusty). But I’d forgotten that I rather like playing with x and y.
