Sunday Salon – Scrabble & Shu Mai

Tired now. This weekend has included: lunch and hot chocolate with 3G, Scrabble and cream tea with a friend and then dim sum with two work friends today. Then I walked from Chinatown from Victoria (which is really not very far!) to do a spot of shopping, and am now totally exhausted.

I haven’t read anything this week; I’ve got four or five books lying around but can’t really get into any of them. In a bit of a reading slump.

  1. Ooh, I could really go for a cream tea about now… not so much with the Scrabble though – I’m terrible at it!

I wouldn’t worry too much about reading slumps. Sometimes forcing yourself to read can only make it worse.

    1. It’s so frustrating though – I really want to read and NOTHING I pick up is even making it past the first page before I turn back to something less demanding. Like Twitter.
The cream tea was goooooood. The birthday cake was carrot cake with a lot of icing. Yum.
